This is a common problem with the Malibu Vride seats. The center seat over the engine collapses in the corners as the guys at the factory put the braces too far in. Solution -- a power drill to the rescue. Simply move the braces out closer to the edge of the seat and it should fit snuggly and no longer cave in.
